May 30th

The end of May moving into June is an exciting time. The does are about to give birth. They do this any time between the middle of May and the middle of June and the dates are earlier in the south of the country. Here in Northumberland they tend to be in June rather than May. The doe you can see here is heavily pregnant and having watched her for a number of years I know she had triplets last year - all of which have survived - I am keen to see what she produces this year.
